







Our Policies
Payment:
Payment for all services should be waiting for us when we arrive. If you would rather make just one payment, you can pay for the month in advance. This will also help us work your dog into our schedule ahead of time for the month.
Refunds:
Since we have already scheduled time for your pet, we do not offer refunds if you return early from your trip. We can however, continue our visit or you can use that credit towards your next trip. Credits can be used for one year from the issue date.
Returned Checks:
There will be a $25.00 fee for each returned check.
Keys:
Two house keys must be available at the orientation visit. If your keys are not available at that time, there will be a $10 charge for us to make a copy to cover our time. We will keep your keys on file, coded, and kept in a safe place. This makes it easy for us and for you so you don’t have to worry about that one extra thing when you are on your way out the door.
Tags and Shots:
Please have your pet’s tags and current shot record available.
Specific Time:
We will ask what time you prefer us to visit your pets. However, we cannot guarantee a specific time. We will attempt to stay as close to your preferred time as possible but unpredictable mishaps might occur.
Inclement Weather:
For our safety and your pets safety, during heavy thunderstorms we will not walk your dogs but will make sure to take them out long enough to let them do their business and spend the rest of the visit playing with them. If the weather is bad enough to where no one should be out driving, we won’t either! If this is the case, we suggest that a neighbor you trust care for your pet on these days.
Overnight Care:
We will always accommodate you if we can, but overnight stay is not always available. We will stay with your pets between 10pm and 6am.
Holiday Charges:
There is a $5 charge per visit during the following holidays:
Easter weekend (Saturday and Sunday)
Memorial Day weekend (Saturday, Sunday & Monday)
Fourth of July weekend
Labor Day weekend (Saturday, Sunday & Monday)
Thanksgiving (Wednesday-Sunday)
Christmas/New Years ( December 21-January 2)***Please schedule holiday pet care as early as possible.***
Your Pet Sitters:
Please be comfortable knowing that all staff of SIT are bonded, insured, excellent with pet and home care, PET CPR and First Aid certified, and have had their references checked. Although we try, we can not always guarantee that the same SIT sitter will be the one caring for your pets. They will have all the information they need to properly care for your pets and home.
